Getting Started on the Talview Assessment App….
Step 1: Which Application to Download
Search of the “Talview Candidate App” on the AppStore, the Application will be shown as below :
Click on Download the App and wait for it to Complete Download onto your Mobile.
Step 2 : Launch the Application
Once the download is completed you can Launch/Open the Application
How to do the Practice Interview?
Step 1 : Launching the Practice Test
It is always advised to do a Practice Assessment before taking up the actual assessment.
Click on the Practice Assessment option and you will be lead to the below screen :
Step 2 : Grant Permissions
The Application will Attempt to test your Hardware, so click allow on all the “Permission Requests” that are shown on the screen.
Step 3 : Test your Camera
The Application will test your Mobile Camera device.
The system will Detect your face and once detected will proceed to the next Step.
Step 4 : Test your Microphone
The Application will test your Mobile Microphone device.
It will Auto check this and you will be required to speak at this time.
Step 5 : Playback
Once the auto check is done you can see a Preview by clicking on the “PlayBack” option where you can listen and see as to how the Audio and Video were seen.
If you are happy with the Audio and the Video you can proceed by clicking on the start assessment option to begin your practice test.
Taking An Assessment On Talview….
Step 1 : Launch the Application.
Once the download is completed you can Launch/Open the Application and you will observe the screen as shown below :
Step 2 : Enter the Verification Code
Write the e-mail and Key in the Password/Code sent to you via Email / SMS.
Step 3 : Registration
You will have to Enter the details requested for in the Registration Page to proceed as shown below and click on the green Submit button :
Step 4 : Basic Instructions
Read the brief description about the assessment.
Read the Basic Instructions carefully as shown in the screen below and click on continue.
Step 4 : Hardware Test - Test your Camera
The Application will test your Mobile Camera device.
The system will Detect your face and once detected you can click on Start Test.
Step 5 : Test your Microphone
The Application will test your Mobile Microphone device.
It will Auto check this and you will be required to speak at this time.
Step 6 : Playback
Once the auto check is done you can see a Preview by clicking on the “PlayBack” option where you can listen and see as to how the Audio and Video were seen.
If you are happy with the Audio and the Video you can proceed by clicking on the “Continue” option to begin your Assessment.
Asynchronous Interview Section
Step 1 : Basic Information
This is a Section in which the questions will be displayed on the screen one after the other and you have to answer them so.
Your Audio and Video will be recorded in this section and will be used for Evaluation.
Step 2 : Reading the Question
You will be viewing the questions as shown in the screen above, please “Tap on” the grey bar in-case your questions are currently visible.
Step 3 : Recording your Answers :
Once the Recording has begun the screen will be seen as below, you can start answering your question.
The Timer for your question will be shown in the “top left corner” of your screen.
Step 4 : Submitting your Answer.
After answering the question click on the green submit option given on the bottom of your mobile screen to upload your response and proceed ahead.
Then you will see a pop-up stating as shown in the screenshot below, for confirmation, Please click on yes to proceed ahead to the next question.
Once you have answered all the questions in that particular section, you will be shown the below screen, you can click on the continue option and proceed ahead.
The same process would repeat for all the questions in the section, until you reach the last section.
- Once all the questions in the section have been answered you will be shown the below screen, as a completion screen.
List of Unsupported Modules On the Mobile Application…
There are some modules that are “NOT SUPPORTED” on the Mobile Application of Talview simply because of the nature of the assessments and the requirements. Below is a list of the same :
Coding Assessment Module.
Virtual Machine (VM) Assessments.
Versant English Assessment.
