The secondary camera, in conjunction with your laptop/desktop's built-in camera, operates to monitor and record activities during an examination. This dual-camera setup enables proctors to oversee your actions and ensure the exam's integrity.

It is imperative to ensure that the following prerequisites are duly fulfilled:

  1. A QR Reader App.
  2. Adequate provision for a mobile holder or a designated space for placing the phone (secondary camera).
  3. Connect the phone to a power source.
  4. The latest version of Google Chrome or Firefox browsers.

Positioning yourself accurately before the secondary camera is of paramount importance. This positioning guarantees that your face, profile view, and your laptop/desktop screen remain visible throughout the duration of the exam. To maintain consistent visual clarity, please ensure that the camera is in landscape mode. Moreover, ensure sufficient lighting, prevent any hindrance to the camera's field of vision, and maintain a stable camera setup. It is advisable to disable the auto-lock feature, as it could disrupt the secondary camera's functionality.

Manipulating or obstructing the secondary camera's operation is strictly prohibited. Such actions could be considered as violations of exam regulations, potentially leading to penalties or disqualification. The secondary camera must remain operational and unobstructed throughout the entire examination period.

In the event of a disconnection of the secondary camera during the exam, your primary device's screen will transition to a prompt or notification indicating the disconnection. In this scenario, follow the provided instructions, which typically involve reestablishing the connection by rescanning the QR code on your secondary device. After successful reconnection, you can promptly resume your exam proceedings.
