By following the instructions in this guide, you will gain valuable insights into accessing and utilizing the essay section effectively.


Step 1: Verification process


Upon accessing the platform, you will be directed to the verification page displayed below.

Enter the verification code provided in the invitation email to proceed.


Step 2: Hardware Test Process 

During the hardware test, the system will verify your hardware connections and permissions. Click here {hyperlink} to know more about enabling browser-level permissions.

Click on the 'Next' option to initiate the hardware test process.

Step 3: Camera Test

  1. Position your camera in a way that your full face is clearly visible in the preview.
  2. Ensure adequate lighting in the room for optimal video quality.
  3. If you have an additional external webcam along with your laptop's inbuilt camera and your camera is not automatically detected, use the 'Select Camera' drop-down to manually choose the camera to use.



Step 4: Audio/ Microphone Test

  1. Obtain a working microphone for the audio test.
  2. Speak the provided lines on the screen in a loud and clear voice, and listen to the playback.
  3. Proceed ahead if you are satisfied with the audio quality. Alternatively, choose the 'Record Again' option for improved results.




Step 5: Question list view


Upon entering the attending process, you will have access to the question list within the assessment, along with a timer located in the top-right corner to keep track of the test duration.




Step 6: Answering a question


The screen below will be visible as you answer a question. The question will be positioned on the left side of the screen, with options to choose from on the right side. The question timer will be displayed in the top-right corner, indicating the remaining time for this section. The 'Next' option will be located in the bottom-right corner to go to the next question.


You can also choose the ‘Attach File’ option in case you would like to attach a file/document of your answer. Please note it supports the doc version files only. 



Step 7: Submitting answers


Once you have completed answering all the questions, click on 'Submit All Answers' to save your responses successfully in the system. You will then be able to view the following screen.

Ensure accurate verification by entering the provided verification code, complete the hardware test and camera test for optimal performance, and confidently participate in the Essay test interview.
