Talview Secure Browser (TSB) is a way of delivering remote assessments securely by preventing candidates from switching tabs and opening other applications while taking the assessment. TSB enables a secure exam environment to help you attend the assessment remotely. While launching TSB it will enforce a restriction to have a sanitised test environment by closing other browsers or applications that are opened, it automatically closes the browser and the applications before it start with test. Step-by-step guide to accessing the assessment:
Download and install the Talview Secure Browser (TSB) on your Windows computer. Upon installation, retrieve the configuration file from the assessment invitation email.
Double-click on the configuration file to launch the assessment window within the Talview Secure Browser.
Enter the verification code provided in the same email to proceed. Ensure you have the verification code readily available before opening the configuration file.
Please note that once you enter the Talview Secure Browser, the copy-paste function will be disabled. Hence, it is advisable to keep the verification code accessible before opening the configuration file.
Important note regarding Talview Secure Browser (TSB) usage:
TSB is designed to detect and prevent execution within virtual environments, emphasizing the need to run it solely in a native environment.
Running TSB on PCs/laptops connected to VPNs, secured networks with restrictions, strict firewalls, or corporate/institution networks with limitations is not recommended. Additionally, disabling ad-blockers, pop-up blockers, and, if necessary, temporarily deactivating antivirus software may be required if TSB installation is blocked.
TSB compatibility and platform requirements:
TSB is exclusively supported on Windows laptops or desktops. It is not compatible with mobile devices. Kindly download TSB on your Windows laptop or desktop to attend the assessment.
Exiting the Talview Secure Browser (TSB) after assessment completion:
To exit TSB once you have submitted your assessment, click on the 'Quit' button located in the bottom right corner. The 'Quit' button resembles a Windows power button (i). Alternatively, you can use the shortcut Ctrl+Q to quit TSB.
In the event of any technical issues prompting you to exit TSB, you may rejoin the assessment using the same configuration file link provided during your initial login.
